National Mentorship Program in LGBTQI Inclusive Education

On 3-7 June 2025 Baltic Pride returns to Vilnius, providing an opportunity for IGLYO members LGL and Tolerant Youth Association to collaborate on advocacy actions to strengthen policy and legal measures to protect LGBTQI children and youth from discrimination at school, and challenge the discriminatory Lithuanian Law on the Protection of Minors against the Detrimental Effect of Public Information.

Partners will dedicate the space for community initiatives – the Pride house – to gather LGBTQI youth, experts on inclusive education, child right protection, educators, Vilnius city municipality, activists and community members to provide Pride house lectures, workshops and come up with a joint memorandum, setting out the actions to be taken to improve the situation of LGBTQI children and youth.

The group will then march at the Baltic Pride 2025 with a joint banner promoting the actions set out by the memorandum with the aim to protect LGBTQI children and youth from discrimination at school.

The initiative is funded by IGLYO.
