On November 20, 2018 LGL is taking part to the Working Session organised promote active participation and decision making among the Partner Organizations of the Baltic Pride 2019, in the framework of the Project “Baltic Pride 2019: Promoting LGBT Human Rights through Baltic-Nordic Cooperation”. The Partner Organizations are: LGL, Mozaika (Latvia), Estonian LGBT Organization, Amnesty International Denmark and SETA (Finland).
The Working Session will include discussion on the logistical aspects of Baltic Pride 2019 festival (e.g. dates, slogan, visual identity, thematic focus, etc.), evaluation of the Baltic Pride 2018 in Riga and discussion on the role of each Partner Organization in organizing this awareness raising event.
The project “Baltic Pride 2019: Promoting LGBT* Human Rights through Nordic-Baltic Cooperation” is implemented by LGL, Mozaika, Estonian LGBT Organization, Amnesty International Denmark and SETA and it is funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers.
The Project aims to promote sustainable cooperation among the three major LGBT* organizations in the Baltic States (LGL, Mozaika and Estonian LGBT Association) and their partners from the Nordic countries (Amnesty International Denmark and Seta from Finland), in advancing LGBT* human rights through the Baltic Pride platform.
