On 22 October 2025, the Opening Reception of the ILGA-Europe Annual Conference took place at the National Museum—Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania. This special evening brought together LGBTQ+ leaders, activists, and allies from across Europe to mark the beginning of an important week of discussion, connection, and action for equality.

As co-hosts, LGL is honoured to welcome the ILGA-Europe family to Vilnius and to contribute to a space where human rights defenders can celebrate progress, build solidarity, and continue shaping a more just future for our communities. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made the reception possible and to all who continue working for freedom, safety, and dignity for LGBTQ+ people across the region.
