LGL Representative Presented the Good Practices of Organizing the Baltic Pride in Vilnius

On 16th October, 2019 Eglė Kuktoraitė, Communication Manager at the National LGBT rights organization LGL, took part at a panel debate “Give us a seat at the table! Youth movements & their impact on future Baltic Sea Cooperation”, organized by the Council of the Baltic Sea States and the Forum Northern European Politics in Berlin.

During the event LGL representative presented LGL’s best practices in organizing Baltic Pride in Vilnius. Since 2010, when the LGBT community march was first organized in Vilnius, the event has changed beyond recognition. Baltic Pride in Vilnius has grown from 350 people on Upes Street to 10,000 on Gedimino Avenue.

During the meeting, LGL representative shared the experience in organizing Baltic Pride in Vilnius and revealed the recipe for the success of Baltic Pride.
