1. Project title: Promoting Human Rights Activism in Lithuania
2. Term of EVS* service: January, 2015 – October, 2015.
3. Volunteers profile:
a) candidates should be not younger than 18 years old;
b) one person from Italy, another – from Germany;
c) volunteers should be open-minded and willing to work with LGBT-issues. He/she shall not necessarily be LGBT or have worked with LGBT organizations before, but the volunteer should be interested in this kind of work;
d) English writing and verbal skills are an important requirement for our volunteers since most internal and external communication of LGL is being held in English.
4. Fields of service: one service place in advocacy and communication, another service place in fundraising and community building.
5. Place of service: LGL office (A. Jaksto str. 15 – 22, Vilnius).

*The EVS placement covers 90% of your travel costs to Lithuania and back, full insurance costs; it also includes a monthly allowance of pocket and food money as well as free accommodation. Your work will be supervised by the LGL volunteer coordinator and you will also have the opportunity to meet with your mentor (a person involved in the work of LGL, however, not a member of staff).
