LGL to protest against freedom of expression restrictions in Lithuania

On the morning of the 2nd of October, a protest action of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) rights activists will be held before the start of the informal meeting of European Union Ministers for Culture and Audiovisual Affairs.

In this way, national LGBT rights association LGL will express its view on the discriminating Russian style anti-gay norms of the Law on the Protection of Minors against the Detrimental Effect of Public Information being applied by national TV channels and internet news portals.

The demonstration will take place on the 2nd of October from 8 till 9 am, near the entrance to the National Gallery of Art (Konstitucijos pr. 22, Vilnius).
