Lithuanian Pride 2026 returns to Vilnius with a week of celebration, dialogue, and solidarity

From June 2–6, 2026, one of the most prominent human rights events in Lithuania – Lithuanian Pride 2026 – will take place again in Vilnius. This largest and most visible festival for the LGBT community and its allies brings together tens of thousands of people each year who strive for equality and respect for human rights. It is not only a celebration, but also a clear message that LGBT people are an integral part of society, with the right to be visible, heard, and safe.

The festival is organized by the National LGBT rights organization LGL, which hosts the Baltic Pride festival in Vilnius every three years.

The festival program will invite both members of the LGBT community and their allies to participate in cultural events, discussions, and public actions. Throughout the festival week, from June 2–6, various community events will take place at the “Estradà” venue in Vilnius.

On June 4, a cabaret evening will be held at “Estradà,” featuring the Belgian drag performer LaDiva Live. The event will invite audiences to experience the atmosphere of contemporary queer cabaret, blending music, humor, and self-expression.

On June 5, an international conference titled “Rainbow Families: Towards Legal, Social, and Institutional Equality” will take place at the Vilnius City Municipality conference hall. The event will bring together experts, policymakers, and community representatives from Nordic and Baltic countries as well as Ukraine. The conference will address current legal, social, and institutional challenges, share best practices, and develop recommendations aimed at achieving equality for same-sex families.

On June 6, the main highlight of the festival will be the traditional march “For Equality!”, taking place on Gediminas Avenue. This is the largest solidarity event for the LGBT community and its allies in Lithuania, bringing together tens of thousands of participants.

The march route will lead to Kalnų Park, where, in collaboration with the M.A.M.A., a large open-air concert will be held. Performers will include Lithuanian and international artists such as the Spanish Eurovision stars Nebulossa, Lithuania’s representative at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest Lion Ceccah, French artist Savanah, as well as Sandra Carrillo, Ruslanas Kirilkinas, and drag performers LaDiva Live (Belgium) and Catherine d’Oex (Switzerland).

During the event, the Rainbow Awards ceremony will also take place, honoring individuals, organizations, and initiatives that have significantly contributed to strengthening the visibility and safety of the LGBT community.

Lithuanian Pride 2026 is more than a festival – it is an expression of solidarity, respect, and support for human rights. The event invites everyone to contribute to building a more open and inclusive society and to celebrate the right to be yourself.
