The National LGBT rights organisation LGL invites you to attend the international Lithuanian Pride conference “Rainbow Families: Towards Legal, Social and Institutional Equality”, which will take place on 5 June 2026 from 09:30 to 15:00 at the Vilnius City Municipality Conference Hall.
The International Lithuanian Pride conference will bring together experts, policymakers, researchers and community leaders from the Nordic and Baltic countries, as well as Ukraine.
This is not only a conference, but also a space for open and informed discussion about the lived realities of rainbow families today and the challenges they face in everyday life. From legal gaps and issues of parental recognition to education and healthcare systems that are still not equally accessible to all, the event will address topics that have a direct impact on people’s lives.
The conference is organised as part of the project “Connecting families, educators and policymakers to combat violence and improve the well-being of LGBTIQ children in the Nordic-Baltic region and Ukraine”, co-funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers’ programme “Prosperous Future”.

The conference is organized as part of the project “Visible and Heard: Responding to Gender-Based Violence Against LBT Women and Non-Binary Individuals”.
Funded by the European Union. However, the views and opinions expressed are those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of the European Union or the European Commission. Neither the European Union nor the European Commission can be held responsible for them.
