ILGA-Europe Annual Conference Concludes with Closing Gala Dinner

The ILGA-Europe Annual Conference came to a joyful close on 25 October 2025 with a lively gala dinner that perfectly captured the spirit of celebration and community. Set against the scenic backdrop of Vilnius, the evening brought participants together to relax, reconnect, and reflect on several inspiring days of dialogue, solidarity, and shared purpose.

Guests were welcomed with refreshing drinks before gathering for a buffet-style dinner in a beautifully restored historic venue. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, music, and pride as local drag artists Edma and Aura More lit up the stage with captivating performances. DJ Gyvatnešis kept the dance floor alive with an energetic set that carried the celebration late into the night.

The “celebration” dress code encouraged creativity and self-expression, with guests showing up in everything from elegant evening wear to playful, bold looks — a true reflection of the diversity and confidence that define the ILGA-Europe community.

One of the evening’s most meaningful moments came when LGL and TYA, co-hosts of the 2025 ILGA-Europe Annual Conference in Vilnius, passed the historic ILGA-Europe rainbow conference flag to the Irish partners, who will co-host next year’s conference in Dublin. The symbolic handover was met with warm applause and excitement, marking both the end of a remarkable gathering and the beginning of anticipation for what’s to come.

As the night drew to a close, the sense of connection, pride, and celebration filled the room — a fitting finale to an inspiring week in Vilnius and a heartfelt send-off as the ILGA-Europe community looks ahead to meeting again in Dublin.
