On 17 August 2024 a delegation of representatives of the National LGBT rights organization LGL participated in the Tartu Pride March.

Together with representatives of partner organizations Mozaika (Latvia), Estonian LGBT Association (Estonia), Latvian Human Rights Centre, Estonian Human Rights Centre, and Samtokin 78 (Iceland), a group of motivated LGL volunteers emersed in a colorful celebration of Tartu Pride.

This year Tartu Pride was particularly special since Tartu is the 2024 European Capital of Culture.

Participation at the Tartu Pride is part of the project Pride as a Platform for Strengthening Nordic – Baltic Cooperation, funded by Nordic Council of Ministers’ Grant Programme for Nordic-Baltic Non- Governmental Organisations’ (NGO) Cooperation 2024 Lithuania.
