On the 8th of December LGL had the pleasure to host a visitation from a Swedish Green Party delegation, who were on a fact-finding tour of Lithuania, including visits to NGOs.

The guests were a group of 8 persons, with a broad representation including members of parliament, county council members, city council members and special advisors with a special interest in gender equality and equal rights.

Participants were interested in hearing about LGL’s projects and discussing the current political and social situation in Lithuania and how the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people (LGBT) could be improved.

We would like to thank all of our guests for this visitation, Gunvor G Ericson, Agnetha Böstrom, Agneta Börjesson, Susanne Nordling, Maria Skalin, Linnea Engström, Susanne Äkesson and Veronica Eriksson, for showing interest in the situation of Lithuanian LGBT people.
