Two representatives from LGL participated in the ANSO (Association of Nordic and Pol-Balt LGBTQ Student Organizations) conference titled Queer Angle: A Look at Queer Society held in Reykjavik, Iceland 5–13 August 2012. During the conference participants had the chance to learn about and discuss varied topics such as sports, politics and pedagogy – all from a queer angle.

The conference gathered together around 30 young LGBT activists from 11 ANSO member organisations, who shared good practices and worked on new tools to improve the work and inclusiveness of their own organisations and educational institutions. As well as workshops and discussions, conference participants also had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful nature of Iceland and take part in Reykjavik Gay Pride.
