Online Hate in the Age of AI: Register for the INACH Annual Summit in Vilnius

The International Network Against Cyber Hate (INACH) Annual Summit 2026, “Digital Violence and Hate Speech in the Age of AI: Challenges, Regulation, and Platform Responsibility,” will take place in Vilnius on 25 September 2026. This year’s conference is co-organised by INACH and its member LGL.

The conference will bring together civil society organisations, policymakers, researchers, technology experts, regulators, online platforms and practitioners from across Europe and beyond. Participants will explore how human rights, democratic values and vulnerable communities can be protected in an increasingly AI-driven online environment.

The discussions will examine the evolving nature of online hate and digital violence, the impact of artificial intelligence on the creation and amplification of harmful content, the responsibilities of online platforms, and the effectiveness of emerging regulatory frameworks, including the Digital Services Act and the AI Act. The programme will also address gender equality, democratic resilience, risks in the digital sphere and mechanisms for appealing online hate speech decisions.

The conference will take place from 8:30 to 16:15 on 25 September at the Corner Hotel, T. Ševčenkos Street 16, Vilnius.

The conference will be held in English without interpretation.
