The year 2025 was filled with exciting challenges and inspiring victories for the National LGBT rights organization LGL. Thanks to your encouragement and support, we were able to take many important steps toward improving the human rights situation of LGBT people in Lithuania.

Throughout the year, LGL successfully implemented a number of impactful projects. The most notable of these was the Baltic Pride festival, which took place in Vilnius from 2–8 June. Baltic Pride made history as the largest Pride event ever held in Lithuania, bringing together more than 20,000 participants.

At the same time, we dedicated much of 2025 to preparations for Lithuanian Pride 2026, which will take place in Vilnius on 2–6 June next year. We firmly believe that organizing Pride events annually will help strengthen community ties, increase the visibility of the local LGBT community, and raise public awareness of key LGBT human rights issues.
