On 20 March 2025 the National LGBT rights organization LGL, together with NGOs Blue Moon and Human Resources Monitoring and Development Office, organized an informal advocacy meeting in Šiauliai – an NGO brunch to discuss the upcoming Baltic Pride 2025 festival. Representatives from local NGOs and businesses participated in the event.

Strategies for more effective mobilization of support for LGBTIQ rights, promotion of NGO cooperation and networking expansion were discussed during the meeting. The participants shared experiences, and discussed challenges and opportunities that are relevant to the LGBTIQ community in the Šiauliai region.
