Hip-Hop Artist Taylor Bennett Comes Out as Bisexual to Mark 21st Birthday

Hip-Hop artist Taylor Bennett who’s the younger brother of Chance the Rapper has come out as bisexual in a series of tweets on Wednesday.

Bennett is celebrating his 21st birthday on Thursday and to mark the occasion, he went on social media to tell his fan something few people know about.

He wrote on Twitter:

‘My birthday is tomorrow & moving into next year I’d like to be more open about myself to help others that struggle with the same issues… Growing up I’ve always felt indifferent about my sexuality & being attracted 2 one sex & today I would like to openly come out to my fans… I do recognize myself as a bisexual male & do & have always openly supported the gay community & will keep doing so in 2017. #ThankYou’

According to Chicago Tribune, Bennett collaborated with Leghorn Chicken last October to create a chicken and waffle sandwich to benefit Pride Action Tank, a Chicago-based LGBTQIA advocacy and youth homeless support group.

Bennett’s father, Ken Williams-Bennett worked for the Mayor of Chicago and used to work for President Obama.

His mother Lisa Bennett previously worked for the Illinois Attorney General.
