Idea of Book Club is to meet and discuss some piece of literature we choose and read before on some interesting topic. Once per month, chapter from a book on particular topic is offered to read in advance and then discuss together in a cosy athmosphere. Sometimes with subtitle “feminist”, initial focus of Book Club is on connection between feminism, gender studies and LGBT* issues. If you have a proposal for a book that you would like to introduce in the frame of Book Club, contact veronika@gay.lt.

• Carol J. Adams – Sexual Politics of Meat
• Jeanette Winterson – Why be happy when you could be normal? („Kam būti laimingai, jei gali būti normali?“)
• Naomi Wolf – Myth of Beauty
