The Traditional Baltic Pride Festival Returns to Vilnius

Baltic Pride, the largest LGBT community festival in the Baltic States, returns to Vilnius on June 2-8. This year, the National LGBT Rights Organization LGL invites everyone to come together under the slogan “Free to Be (Yourself)” and embrace love, unity, and inclusion.

“In the context of global trends, we must speak louder about European values. Diversity and equal opportunities are enshrined in the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, so adverse winds from across the Atlantic must not extinguish them. Attempts to normalize the rhetoric directed against us are a threat not only to one community, but also a direct attack on the basic democratic principles of society,” says LGL leader Vladimir Simonko.

A program where everyone will find their place

The festival week will be full of events inviting the LGBTQ+ community and its allies to participate in discussions, cultural events, a conference, and a march.

Pride House and Baltic Pride Information Center (June 2–8) – a cozy and accepting community space, where seminars, discussions, social gatherings and other cultural and educational events will be held during the day, and free concerts will continue the entertainment in the evenings.

The festival organizers have announced an open call to join Pride House. Anyone with an idea for a cultural, social or educational event in this community space is invited to contact LGL by email at office@gay.lt.

Pride Film Screening (June 4) – a special film evening celebrating LGBTQ+ experiences and representation. Baltic Pride presents the new film “Queer” Luca Guadagnino, a well-known director to the LGBTQ+ community, and invites all to get together, enjoy great cinema and have meaningful conversations.

Pride Voices (June 5) – an evening of inspiring stories and captivating drag art with the Baltic Pride favorite LaDiva Live. The organizers invite you to prepare for a night full of music, queer stories, comedy elements and special guest performances.

International conference “Towards Progress: Inclusive Workplaces for the LGBTQI Community” (June 6-7) – presentations, discussions and workshops on LGBTQ+ inclusion, diversity and justice in professional spaces. Organized together with the European Pride Business Network (EPBN), the conference will become a space to discuss best practices, challenges and innovative strategies for creating truly inclusive workplaces.

March “For Equality!” (June 7) – the largest LGBTQ+ solidarity and visibility event, bringing together thousands of participants on Gediminas Avenue. This march is a statement of unity, visibility and the ongoing fight for LGBTQ+ rights in Lithuania and beyond. LGBTQ+ people and community supporters are invited to march together proudly for inclusion, dignity and a future without discrimination.

The march will traditionally be followed by a concert with live performances by Lithuanian and international guests. This unforgettable evening will bring together the LGBTQ+ community and its allies to celebrate love, diversity and the freedom to be (ourselves).

Baltic Pride 2025 is more than the largest LGBTQ+ human rights festival in the Baltic States – it is a manifesto of solidarity, respect and hope. Everyone is welcome to join the events, volunteer or simply come to celebrate and support the LGBTQ+ community.

Let’s stand together because we are all Free to Be (Ourselves)!

The main sponsor is Johnson Matthey. The festival is presented by Moody’s. Partly funded by Vilnius City Municipality, Ministry of Social Security and Labour, and the European Union. Partner – Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Lithuania. Informational partner – LRT.
