On 16 October 2023 the National LGBT rights organization LGL was presented with a special acknowledgment by Remigijus Šimašius, the Mayor of Vilnius.

Ieva Dirmaitė, Chief of Staff at Vilnius City Municipality, on behalf of the mayor, presented LGL with the acknowledgment which states:

“Thank you for the great contribution to the success of contemporary Vilnius! Your perseverance helped Vilnius to become even more open and friendly to everyone.”

National LGBT rights organization LGL would like to kindly thank Vilnius City Municipality for its collaboration in organizing the Baltic Pride 2022 and Remigijus Šimašius, whose term as a mayor will soon end, for his support for the local LGBT community.
