Baltic Pride 2022 Proud Cities concert: A Colorful Event with Exclusive Performances

The final event of the Baltic Pride festival will take place in Vilnius on June 4 – an exclusive Proud Cities concert at the White Bridge, right after the March for Equality and Peace. The most prominent Lithuanian artists will perform at the concert.

The organizer of the Baltic Pride 2022 festival, the National LGBT rights organization LGL, is pleased that the March for Equality and Peace will finish with an exclusive concert of Lithuanian and foreign music stars.

“I am glad that the Baltic Pride Proud Cities concert is organized in collaboration with M.A.M.A., the association organizing the most important national music awards. I am sure that the concert will be a celebration for everyone. I hope that partnership with M.A.M.A will allow us to achieve more: more great music, more positive emotions, and more openness. Music is a powerful unifying force”, says LGL Executive Director Vladimir Simonko.

The concert will bring together the brightest names into one stage, where many surprises await.

The organizers reveal that the performer and songwriter Dominykas Vaitiekūnas, one of the most famous singers of the country Donatas Montvydas and the band “Roop”, which gained international recognition at the Eurovision Song Contest, will present their new programs at the concert.

Baltic Pride 2022 Proud Cities concert will also feature three drag divas, who will present drag culture to Vilnius residents and guests: drag performer LaDiva Live from Belgium, drag diva from Switzerland Catherine d’Oex and Leona Winter from France, who will make her debut at the Baltic Pride.

“Performing at Baltic Pride means a lot to me. Wherever I go, I defend the right to freedom: whether it is freedom of expression or freedom to be oneself. “As far as my strength allows, I will continue to fight against injustice,” said Catherine d’Oex.

More surprises are waiting for you near the White Bridge – one of the most famous Lithuanian performers – Justė Arlauskaitė – Jazzu is preparing to film her latest video on Baltic Pride stage.

The audience will also have the opportunity to see a special performance of Lolita Zero, a character embodied by Lithuanian actor Gytis Ivanauskas, who will perform the newest hit “Not your mother”.

According to the M.A.M.A. association, the invitation to contribute to this important event in Vilnius is a great appreciation and responsibility.

“We are glad to be able to contribute to the organization of the Proud Cities concert, which will become the brightest and most positive event here in Lithuania. We are waiting for all Vilnius residents and guests who want to have a great time listening to quality music and get acquainted with the drag culture. “Music is what unites us all, so it will be a very important event,” said representatives of M.A.M.A.
