‘’Europride’’ Ambassador Conchita Wurst Sends a Greeting to Participants of the Baltic Pride in Vilnius

Austrian singer, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest and the Ambassador of EuroPride in Vienna Conchita Wurst has sent a video message in which she invites to participate in the March for Equality on 8 June in Vilnius.

In this video message, Conchita Wurst apologizes for her absence during the March for Equality since she will be participating in the final traditional ‘’Life Ball’’ event in Vienna.

‘’Thank you for your invitation, unfortunately I cannot be with you at this time. I would like to come as soon as possible. Thank you so much for marching for equality and happy Pride to everybody’’ says Conchita Wurst in her video message.

Recently Conchita Wurst performed Mans Zemerlow’s Heroes in Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.

A performer and an icon of LGBT community, Wurst has been invited to participate in the first Rainbow Awards next year. The Rainbow Awards are organized by National LGBT rights organization LGL. The Rainbow Awards will seek to draw attention to and award the best initiatives and people, who have contributed to the LGBT rights movement in Lithuania.
