Popular Lithuanian singer, Erica Jennings, has recorded a video greeting for participants of the “Baltic Pride“ march on June 8th in Vilnius.

The singer equated the “Baltic Pride“ march to a fight for women‘s rights. “It is very important that we support this celebration because its essence is the struggle for equal rights. In the past, women have also won the right to vote by protests.”

Erica Jennings is convinced that Lithuania will achieve progress in the field of LGBT human rights, and same-sex couples will have the opportunity to register partnership and marriage.

“I know a lot of people who belong to the LGBT community and they are in great need of support. That is why it‘s very important to participate in the “Baltic Pride“ march“, says E. Jennings.

The “Baltic Pride“ 2019 march will take place on June 8th at 12:00 o‘clock starting at the Bernardine Garden entrance and culminating at Lukiškių Square.
