On May 15th public spaces in Vilnius were decorated with social advertisements for the “Rainbow Days” 2018 festival, organized by the National LGBT* Rights Organization LGL. The billboard campaign seeks to focus attention on the situation of the local LGBT* community in Lithuania, celebrating its 100th anniversary.
Social advertisement posters depicting notable moments from LGBT history in Lithuania remind us that this year marks 100th anniversary not only for the Lithuanian state, but also for the Lithuanian LGBT community. LGBT people have always been a part of our history, and numerous rainbow-colored flags flying in various parts of our country will help us not to forget this fact. The posters feature various moments from from the activities by the National LGBT* Rights Organization LGL. Photo credit – Augustas Didžgalvis.
