Moments from the Baltic Pride March Captured in LGL Video

National LGBT Rights Organization LGL has released a video clip of the Baltic Pride 2019 March for Equality.

On June 8th, 10,000 people took part in the Baltic Pride March “For Equality!”. The event was accompanied by a positive atmosphere, a feeling of freedom, unity and pride. The crowd walking in the center of Vilnius city said loudly and clearly: “We Are Family.”

The success of this event has shown that positive changes are taking place in the Lithuanian society. These changes would not be possible without the support of Baltic Pride 2019 sponsors, partners and friends. “Sometimes the snowball effect can be created by one brave and resolute person, organization or company. We are proud that for the first time in the history of the Baltic Pride Festival we have experienced a breakthrough in the LGBT human rights movement with the help of our supporters, partners and friends”, said Vladimir Simonko, Executive Director of the National LGBT Rights Organization LGL.

In 2020, the Baltic Pride march will take place in Tallinn, in 2021 in Riga, and in 2022 it will return to Vilnius.
