On March 26th, 2018 a meeting in preparation for the upcoming „Rainbow Days“ 2018 festival, organized by the National LGBT* rights organization LGL, was held at the Swedish Embassy in Vilnius.

During the meeting the representatives of LGL and foreign embassies discussed the possible cooperation in organizing the upcoming „Rainbow Days“ 2018 festival and ways to ensure that the festival would get to the history as one of the most important events of the local LGBT* community.

In May, 2018 the “Rainbow Days” festival will take place in three major cities of the country, namely in Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda. The “Rainbow Days” festival evolves around the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT), celebrated internationally on May 17th.
