Official Rainbow InfoPoint and Pride House opening

Pride House is culture! Pride House is fun! Pride House is pride!

Come and join the opening of the Rainbow InfoPoint. For the entire week, Paviljonas will transform into a community space where most of the workshops will take place. In its cozy interior, you will be greeted with LGL’s friendliness and have the opportunity to take part in the official opening of our Baltic Pride festival.

Witness the post-soviet homophobic effects on modern Russian society – the photo exhibition “Five years of struggle” by Roman Melnik will be hosted in the Pride House for the entire week.

Are a toast and a chat with us not motivation enough? Come and don’t miss out on special offers on our rainbow products during the event!

Over the last 5 years, Roman Melnik has participated in almost all LGBT-related public events in Saint Petersburg, photographing what tolerance looks like in current Russian society. The artist has collected an important body of evidence, and finally decided to make his pictures public for a wider audience in 2015. After the first exhibitions which took place in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, he is ready to cross borders: during Baltic Pride 2016 you will have the unmissable opportunity to see his work and witness the reality of LGBT* people in Russia.
