Marija Aušrinė Pavilionienė and Dalia Kuodytė, former members of the Parliament of Republic of Lithuania, were honored with the Rainbow Days 2017 Awards.
During the event at the local LGBT* community center, the representatives of the National LGBT* rights organization LGL presented the Rainbow Days 2017 Award for contributions to the LGBT* human rights movement in Lithuania.

Marija Aušrinė Pavilionienė, Dalia Kuodytė and representatives of the National LGBT* rights organization LGL discussed the main challenges faced by the local LGBT* community members and celebrated the progress already achieved in seeking advancement of LGBT* human rights in Lithuania.
The Rainbow Days 2017 festival, organized by the National LGBT* rights organization LGL, included a traditional Rainbow Bus journey through the streets of Vilnius, protest next to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Lithuania, a festive Rainbow Days event in Vilnius Town Hall, Eurovision party with LaDiva Live, quizzes and an awareness raising campaign in the country’s 3 major cities.
